Our Values

What “Wyckoff Values” Means to Us

We love Wyckoff. It's a community that has given our families so much, and giving back has always been an important part of who we are.

When we talk about Wyckoff values, we mean more than a phrase or a campaign buzzword.

To us, they are simple:

Children first. Every decision should begin with one question: what is best for our children? Their education, their opportunities, their well-being, and their future should always be at the heart of the conversation.

Education focused. We believe in keeping the focus where it belongs: on providing our children with a strong, well-rounded education and supporting the teachers and staff who make that possible. We believe in making informed decisions grounded in research, evidence, and data, always putting sound educational practices ahead of vendor promises, politics, or trends.

Community connection. A strong school district depends on a strong community. We believe in listening, communicating openly, showing up, being respectful and staying connected to the families, educators, and neighbors we serve.

When we say something, we mean it. And we believe our actions should always match our words.

Why our signs are green

We chose green intentionally because this is about Wyckoff, not red or blue since the Board of Education is non partisan.

A Board of Education should represent everyone. This means families with all types of learners, district staff, and residents whose children graduated years ago but still care deeply about our schools. We're not hiding behind political labels or agendas. We're here to listen, learn, and put our kids and community first.
